The experience of my dieting is such that I would hardly volunteer on this means of self-torture. If not for a "but": I personally saw the results of two weeks sitting on a "Japanese" diet. As in the magazine: "before" and "after". Still, the principle in matters of beauty and health works, perhaps, best.

Why the diet is called Japanese is hard to say - half of the recommended foods to eat are exotic to the Japanese. According to legend, the diet was developed by specialists of the Japanese clinic "Yaeks", but no further trace of this office was found on the Internet that speaks English.

Sentimental lyrical digression

I must say that I admire the courage of people who are able to feel the weight loss recipe found on the net and immediately try it for themselves. I myself am wary of diets. Life brought me twice with them.

For the first time - in a severe form, when in the mountains I caught a kind of stomach infection and for three weeks being at an altitude of 3000 meters, I just could not eat: everything immediately sought to return. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1000 calories a day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of breakfast coffee with ice cream, which is useful for lunch and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet needs to be balanced much later.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but not enough amino acids, " replied a biochemist friend, "you will be the culprit - horror with guns. "His fears about my added hypothetical viciousness did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was crushed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from his life. And realizing that this was for a long time, but not forever, he became calm and indifferent.

Charm and disappointment

As it happens during each experiment on myself, I have compiled a list of charms and disappointments. Or rather, the worry and pleasure of dieting.

Bezdi # 1

The diet is strict. Because, according to its authors, it was created to change metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even a crouton, even an apple) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And this is what is expected: 5 - 8 kg separation and weight stabilization in the future.

Bezdi # 2

Summer very hard to come to a business lunch and flirt, please, two hard-boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Usually such requests remain unfulfilled. Therefore, you will need to keep all the provisions in your purse. And, most likely, prepare diet meals the day before.

Pleasant number 1

13 days on the Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than daily business lunches or work lunches. And even more so - buying food for the home.

Pleasant number 2

In general, it is better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the foods of which are uncomfortable for you. And since I eat with a lot of enthusiasm in "normal life" and fish, and boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage, then to say them at my table was, frankly, happy.

Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - isn’t it harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, then coffee can have a negative effect. And before you start a Japanese diet, it is worth consulting your doctor.

A full range of feelings

In the first two days of the diet, a vision haunted me: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thinly baked pancake appeared before my inner gaze, rolling spontaneously into a tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There were no olfactory hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the pancakes fell back.

A stony indifference and quiet attitude towards culinary delights has been established, which has lasted to this day. This does not mean that I will sternly refuse if I am offered to try something delicious. But nervous tremors from the fact that "there is so much food out there" are no longer noticed.

I did not throw so much - only 4 kg, but the weight is not gaining again. I do not know who to thank for this: the developers of the Japanese diet or myself - to do sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet, you lose weight significantly and towards the end it becomes problematic to open a bottle of unopened mineral water. But then the strength returns quickly.
